- I was inspired by this https://www.potterytothepeople.com/free-pottery-tutorials/wheel-thrown-spiral-cup
- I wanted to see the glaze get stuck in the grooves and create more interest with areas with deeper color than others. So I fixated on heavily coating the rim, the inside, and the "spiral" band I tired to create. Maybe four or five coats on the band and only 1 around the base. I really like how it came out!
