Incorporating flaxseeds into your diet can help lower your blood pressure. So I'm experimenting with healthy and yummy ways to include them! My goal is not to sacrifice on either!

Satiating Tropical Smoothie

I found the flaxseeds elevated this smoothie; made it more complex with the nutty flavor! Though, I experimented with ALL the ingredients here so there are a lot of variables contributing.

Most of these ingredients were eyeballed and thrown into a blender.

Between 1-2Cup (closer to 2) Tropical Fruit Medley - Frozen fruit from costco
About 1Cup Whole Milk. Could try oat,coconut,soy next!
Tiny handful Baby spinach
Splash Maple Syrup
Tablespoon? 👁 Chia Seeds (White, if that matters)
Tablespoon? 👁 Flaxseed meal

Gymrat Smoothie

Flaxseeds blend easily into the gymrat smoothie. I added a heaping tablespoon and maybe notice a slightly nuttier flavor but overall it tastes the same!
